I had a mixed experience during my stay at Hotel At The Lafayette. The architecture was beautiful, and I loved the huge room with a nice kitchen and comfy furnishings. However, the lack of breakfast options and the noisy surroundings during events were a downside. Overall, it was a lovely historic hotel with some room for improvement.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Hotel At The Lafayette. While the location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown and a short walk to key spots, I encountered some major cleanliness issues during my visit. The architecture of the hotel was beautiful, truly showcasing Buffalo's Gilded Age, but the condition of my room could have been much better, which dampened the overall experience. 🏨✨

My stay at Hotel At The Lafayette was a mix of positives and negatives. The location in downtown Buffalo was fantastic, providing easy access to dining and attractions. I enjoyed the beautiful art deco design of the hotel but found some aspects of my room less than satisfying, like a musty smell. The gym could really use an upgrade, as some equipment was broken.

Rooms

The suite I stayed in was nice but had a strong musty odor, and the bathroom door was difficult to slide open and close. The fake fireplace was just for show.

While there's a great brewpub attached to the hotel, I was disappointed with the breakfast options—no simple toast was available, just bagels.
Facilities

The gym left a lot to be desired with broken equipment and poor ventilation, and it lacked essential amenities like a water bottle filling station.
